Greenhead Hostel is a converted Methodist Chapel in the village of Greenhead on Hadrian’s Wall. It is ideal for those walking the Pennine Way as well as The Wall and in a great location for those exploring the nearby Roman heritage sites. The church was built in 1886 to serve the village miners and gave its last service in 1972. It has been a YHA hostel since 1978. Greenhead Hostel has a self catering kitchen and guests lounge. There are 40 beds in four rooms of six beds and two rooms of eight beds. These can be booked as family rooms, by groups or by individuals by the bed. Evening meals, breakfast and packed lunches available. The hostel is operated by Greenhead Hotel (over the road) with a welcoming Hotel Bar and Restaurant. Now VisitEngland approved
