Moss Troopers' Trail

Northumberland

32 km / 20 miles
Mark Richards has created two routes, this and the longer Roman Ring, as a green trail alternative to the central sections of Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail, part of which is shared with the Pennine Way National Trail.

The Troopers? Trail strides out into the wilder country immediately north of the Whin Sill, from Carvoran to Newbrough. By combining several north/south link routes, a number of shorter circular options are possible. The Roman Ring publication includes this route.
