Edinburgh The Walk

Edinburgh

66 km / 41 miles
The Walk circles the city on an anti-clockwise route and visits the summits of Edinburgh's 'seven hills': Castle Rock, Calton, Corstophine, Craiglockhart, The Braids, Blackford and Arthur's Seat. It visits more than 30 parks, woods and open spaces and also has a coastal section.

The guidebook describes the walk in eight short sections, which can be easily combined, and includes details of public transport links. As well as detailed route descriptions the book includes plenty of backgound information.
