Thames Pilgrim Way

Oxfordshire, Reading, Surrey, Windsor & Maidenhead, Wokingham

The 104-mile Thames Pilgrim Way is a brand new (2017) pilgrim route running through the heart of the Diocese of Oxford, which covers the three counties of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. In September 2014 the Rt Revd John Pritchard inaugurated the route with a ten-day pilgrimage, marking the end of his ministry as Bishop of Oxford. But the intention is that the route should exist in perpetuity ? so that walkers of this part of the Thames Path can experience a different dimension to a much-loved and well-trodden route.
