Shropshire Way - South Route

Shropshire

The southern section of the Shropshire Way crosses the Shropshire Hills from the Stiperstones to the Clee Hills and Wenlock Edge before descending to Ironbridge Gorge. From there it goes over the Wrekin before returning to Shrewsbury via Haughmond Hill.

Along the route the historic towns and villages of Bishop's Castle, Clun, Ludlow, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge and Wellington are visited.
